Always great tasting donuts but the old guy working there on this day seems to be miserable with life in general. (This is the store on Hamilton Cleves Rd. in Ross.) I've had him complain to me in the past about rude customers who don't say you're welcome to him, yet he offers absolutely no response when you say how you doing or have a good one. Todays conversation was "what would you like" and "that's $3.50". No "thanks for stopping in" or "thank you" from him at all. I've actually started bypassing this place and have gone to Mimi's donuts several miles away when I see this guys car in the parking lot. Everyone else that works there are always nice! Hate to see this bakery ruined by this guy.

One of our Donut Trail stops: we give 4 out of 5 stars. We tried the Banana Cream Donut and it was good! We were wanting to try their popular Klunker or Dunker donuts but they were sold out by the time we visited. Their filled donut was filled from the top rather than the side which I kinda liked. While eating it doesn't squeeze out the sides. There isn't any seating inside, a small table is available outside to sit at.

We did three bakeries today on the Donut Trail, and this one, hands down, was our favorite!!!! The owner was so friendly, and took time to tell us about all the different donuts. My daughter loved the fruity pebbles, and I got the glazed donut holes. Excellent donuts and service!

Good variety of donuts for a late Saturday morning! Workers wore masks and were very nice and welcoming. Enjoyed the glazed twist donuts (2 kinds!) and the price was well worth it.

Our weekend donut spot. Glazed donuts are the best and are huge! We especially like them with chocolate drizzle when they have them available.

Took part in the Butler County donut trail. If you are not aware of what this entails, it requires that you visit 12 for all 15 mom-and-pop donut shops throughout the county and get a stamp or acquire the nearby geocache. Upon completing 117 miles in roughly 6 hours we came back to the visitation center, present our passport and acquired our T-shirt and completion Coin for 2018. The ability to hit all of these donut shops required proper planning. It was great to see a number of different things throughout our travels. Additionally it was nice to engage with locals and donut shop operators alike. I can tell you that if you do not get here early enough, you will miss out on some of the best concoctions and creative flavors.

We devoured the donut trail and this was one of our stops which turned out to have my very favorite donut on the trail, the glazed donut at Ross Bakery. Not surprising that Ross is known for their glazed donuts and has been stated to be the best-glazed donut in the county (and I would whole-heartedly agree). We also tried their klunker which is another popular Donut Trail donut - it's a cake donut that is made with a little more water and a little less oil so it's fried crispy. What surprised me the most was not that they had my favorite donut but out of all the donuts we ate, my favorite donut was a plain old glazed donut. But these were no plain old glazed donuts, these were melt-in-your-mouth, shout from the rooftops, glorious glazed donuts. I'm not kidding when say, I would drive the 90 minutes for this donut.
